Live-In Resident Support Specialist

Dismas House recently moved to a new campus, allowing us to serve many more residents than was previously possible. As such, Dismas House is looking for a male who can provide residential support as live-in staff. He would become a member of the supportive Dismas community by building rapport with program participants to promote positive re-entry, as well as assist in the coordination and facilitation of programming, transportation, community dinners, etc. while residing at the Dismas campus. Candidates must be eligible to work in the United States and must have safe driving record and have a valid driver’s license.

Community Engagement Coordinator

Working from the Nashville campus and reporting to the Vice President of Operations, the incoming Community Engagement Coordinator is responsible for planning, organizing, directing, and implementing all volunteer-related programming and events associated with Dismas House of Nashville. We are looking for a compassionate, care-driven professional who believes in facilitating wellness for residents and their families. Responsible for planning and coordinating volunteer efforts and effectively communicating with volunteers, residents and Dismas staff as well as supporting the VP of Operations in some day-to-day responsibilities. The ideal candidate will have flexibility with work hours including the ability to work some evenings and an occasional weekend as needed.

Licensed Clinical Director

Working from the Nashville office and reporting to the VP of Programs, Dismas House of Nashville seeks a full-time Licensed Clinical Director who maintains primary responsibility for overseeing all counseling and case management services for our residents, most of whom are returning to the community directly from all the state prisons and county jails in Tennessee. This individual will supervise a team of three case managers and all counseling interns, as well as coordinate all clinical programming in-house. The Clinical Director’s other duties will include, in part, working closely and communicating frequently with the VP of Programs, providing individual counseling as needed, leading or facilitating groups, managing counseling partnerships with local colleges and universities, intern supervision, performing assessments and doing referrals as needed.
